MALL SECURITY GUARD KILLED, THREE SUSPECTS ARRESTED
The shooting death of a staff member of the Los Santos Mall's security team culminated in a pitched gun fight between three heavily armed suspects early morning yesterday.
The mall security guard was shot and killed after confronting three men at the mall's parking garage over an apparent parking violation. The men then fled the area in a white four door vehicle. They were converged upon by Los Santos Police Department officers near the scene of the crime after a flurry of emergency calls by witnesses in the area. A tense standoff ensued but it quickly devolved into a gun fight. Four people were left wounded following the shooting, including all three of the suspects and one police officer. A multitude of firearms were located following a search of the vehicle, including handguns and assault rifles. The suspects and police officer are all reported to be in stable condition.
This latest bout of violence underscores the safety concerns that businesses in Los Santos often face upon opening their doors. Police regularly encourage business owners to purchase up to date security systems, including metal detectors, high-quality surveillance cameras and alarm systems.
